First Real Post

So I finally got my website setup which I've been trying to do for a long time now. I'd build a site then decide it sucked and start over, finally I said shit it doesn't really matter just put something up you can change it later. I still have lots of work to on it, but that will give something to do. Listen to a few new CD's I got this weekend. (I know everyone downloading I do that some also, but I actually like to support the bands I like.) I really like Seether's new album it kicked major ass, it get better the more you listen to it. Right now my favorite tracks are "Remedy" and "Gift". I was real disappointed in System of a Down their records keep getting worse. They have a couple of catchy tunes like BYOB, Violent Pornography, and Venga but even those play out real quick and the rest of the album is crap. Mudvayne's latest I haven't really got into yet, maybe I just wasn't feeling the heavy stuff today, but I do really like "Happy" and the video rocks. I really wanted to call "My Chemical Romance" a bunch of posers, but I like the album so I guess I won't. I just don't get the whole Goth "Look at me I wasn't loved as a child and now hate everyone including the sun so I'm going to hide my tears under mascara". Wow that was turned out long. It's like Saliva said on "Click Click Boom"

"My mom and dad weren't perfect
But still you don't hear no cryin' ass bitchin' from me
Like there seems to be on everybody's CD"

There needs to be more music like that.

On the movie front I went watched Longest Yard this weekend with Adam Sandler. The movie was funny and I laughed in the theater, but afterwards couldn't remember a damn thing. So it was enjoyable but forgettable. Of course I'm a huge nerd and thus have seen Star Wars multiple times already. It was a great movie the best Star Wars in my opinion by far and the rest of the summer movies are going to have a hard time topping it.

So that was a decent first post. Till next time. Just remember "You're Good Enough, Your smart enough, and dog gone it people like you!"
